I have been taking photographs for over 25 years

in 1988 I co-founded the training company, Focal Point Photography, which was supported by leading suppliers including Kodak and Polaroid

I now work freelance as a social photographer and I take travel and landscape images, which you will find on this website

my work is both classic and modern ~ my images show reverence for the pioneers, empathy with line & form and are freshly presented using electronic imaging 

I like to isolate details, blur backgrounds, compose thoughtfully and capture mood ~ I believe that a photograph should touch us in some way, reminding us of our humanity

the images on this website are displayed in colour ~ some work in black and white (B+W), like these elephants ~ others are not suitable for monochrome

this website only represents a small selection of my work ~ I may have alternate views of the same subject /location that you may prefer ~ feel free to ask
